IMTS 2024 Preview

With more than 1.2 million sq-ft of exhibit space, featuring the latest technologies and solutions at 1,500-plus booths, the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) is back!

The biennial event will be held Sept. 9-14 at its usual home in Chicago’s mammoth McCormick Place. The mega-conference, which is put on by AMT – The Association for Manufacturing Technology, is billed as the largest manufacturing technology show in the Western Hemisphere—where creators, builders and sellers come together.

Efficiency is Center Stage at the Tooling & Workholding Pavilion

Automation will be abundant at the Tooling & Workholding pavilion at IMTS. Exhibitors will demonstrate robots paired with five-axis machines, automated tool measurement and other efficiency features, in addition to chucks, vises, toolholders, cutting tools and pallet systems.
